The 63mm pressure gauge mounting flange is designed to be used in various situations, one of which being where using the panel mounting clamp is not possible.
The flange is simply pushed over the pressure gauge (with some force) and provides a tight spot for the gauge to sit so that it can be mounted without the worry of the gauge coming loose.
