OM-08 Hand Swaging Machine – 17mm to 27mm Integrated Dies

The OM-08 from OMNI-PRESS is the ideal choice for someone who is looking to save a bit of money on hose replacement bills and start doing it themselves. Alternatively the machine could also be used by an experienced mobile hose technician where access is limited on-site it may be easier to route the hose and crimp afterwards.

The OM-08 hand swaging machine comes with a single set of built in dies, these cannot be changed without being returned to the manufacturer OMNI-PRESS.
As standard the machine comes with a die set capable of giving a final crimp size of between 17mm and 27mm.
Please note that any 10mm range is possible between 5-35mm so if you wanted to crimp 3/16″ to 3/8″ hose for example, we could supply a machine with a built in die set allowing crimping of between 14mm to 24mm – contact our sales team if you have any unique requirements like this.

The manually adjustable micrometer allows the user to quickly and easily set the final crimp size, on the OM-08 there is an internal shaft that goes flush with the outer case of the micrometer once the final crimp size has been reached.

Remember that you should always be asking your hose and fitting supplier for the right crimp size to suit your hose, ferrule and fitting – if you do not purchase these from Hydraulic Megastore we will be unable to advise you of the crimp size.
